A busy weekend has just passed. I have yet to blog in a new entry so far. So today I’m gonna start with Saturday. Woke up late, real late on Saturday. After going back for what seemed like a minute of sleep, I was woken up by my brother. Have to go to some stupid workshop.

Arrived at the MND Building Annexe B at around 4pm. It was about some device which could help improve your eyesight and lower the degree. But my mom refuses to buy. The reason: price. The product was assembled in China. But it costs a whopping $528. I’m not saying anything here as I know it is really expensive. But we have to take into consideration the amount spent into researching for the product. The labour and the materials do not contribute to the price of the product. It’s the product itself. Meaning, the effort spent into making it. It was a Made in Singapore idea. So, if we won’t accept the price, we will not be spurring economic growth. We will not be able to get the salaries that we are getting today. And we will have to end up with the re-structured jobs.

For dinner, we went to SRC. There was this Deepa-Raya buffet. It was worth it. $12.80, and the food was superb. Being my mother, my always considerate for me and my siblings friend’s mother, she asked me again, whether I could bring my friends here for dinner. I told her countless times that I could not bring guests in. Thats the difference between my Dad and my Mom. My mom would gladly offer give my friends a lift while my dad would not.

After the filling dinner, we went to play pool. Uncle Alfred, the guy who is on duty at that time was very kind to teach me and my bro to shoot properly. He also lent my bro a pair of long pants and didn’t even stop him for his age. The minimum age was 14. My dad joined us for a game of elimination later. I lost the two elimination as there were some accidents.

Sunday. Got books for my research from my sis’s friend who studied in MI. The texbooks for management of business. Yay. Finally. Nothing much happened except my NFSU2. My EVO just can’t seem to find any upgrades which can beat my Celica. For dinner, my family went over to my mom’s very good malay friend place for Hari Raya Dinner. She cooks the best malay dishes I tried delicious. Two days of Hari-Raya dinner. I was the only one at the table to use my hand-right hand only- a tough job as the use of left hand is forbidden. Even my maid uses forks and spoon. But it was kind of messy though. The rice was soft as there was gravy. I was so full that I could become obese in a day.

Nothing much happened today. KY did not come in the morning. She sounded tired when she called. Hey, don’t drain your energy on work. ECO went pass with worms. UGC was quite ok. We had the test which I had some difficulty with. I was so tired that I could fall asleep.

Got back my MTH test results. Only scored 19/25. Nathan! Rh scored 20/25 due to his sitting beside Graham and the easier paper for BAC students. What did I get? XY sitting beside me waiting for answers. Dots.
