Research Mania

So long, so long. Almost a week since I last blogged. I was just too tired out by the amount of work to be done. Finished my research paper in the wee hours of this morning. After some gruelling hours, I finally completed my 14 page research paper. Tara came to hand in her research paper late. Worst of all, she didn’t even complete it. Hans was so bloody late he just sent it to Veeron by email. I think all of them had marks deducted.

School leads me to my friends. And having friends, will lead me to stories. Whats more, an interesting one. This is what KJ told me the other day. He heard it from Gaylene. One fine morning, while Gaylene was on her way to work, she boarded a bus- I supposed it to be full of people- found this young chap sitting at a seat near the window. He has his bag placed on the seat next to him. Erm, I can’t really remember the details, but she shouted to that guy something like, “Hey, you take that bag of yours away”, that guy ignored her, so she shouted to him again, “Hey you, yes you!$%#$%$%^$” I can’t remember what she said. But the guy continued ignoring her and so she walked towards him, took his bag up and slam it into him. Haha. FIERCE. But anyway, although her actions were a bit of weird, I find that justice is on her side and she did the right thing. Singaporeans are plain selfish. Although seats are on first come first served basis, they have no right to occupy two seats. Unless they have such a big butt. They only pay for their own fare. Their belongings do not pay for the bus fare. So why should it be allowed to hog a seat? And this guy, has the cheek and that thick skin to ignore people shaming him.

People are angry that Xia Xue used the toilet for handicaps instead when she is not physically disabled. I understand how these people feel. But since they are not in use, why can’t others use it? Instead of being angry with Xia Xue, they should be angry with these people who hog seats on public transport. These selfish people are the ones who should be ashamed of themselves.
