Festive Cheers! or disaster?

Right.. Lets get started and be finished before Christmas Day ends.
Went to Orchard Road to join in the festive celebrations there but it was kind of fucked up. I had lots of fun pics that I am waiting to upload. Besides the fun stuff, Orchard Road was in a mess. The police are not able to control the crowd with the limited manpower. And these party goers have no manners. Not a bit of reponsibility. I mean its okay to play and have fun during this festive season. In the beginning I was kind of glad that this was the case. But as I walked up Orchard Road (I came from Istana that direction), I got kind of fed up. These people push and spray at everyone. They even play on the roads where it is so dangerous. The police officer keeps telling them not to play on the roads but they heck care. Police officer should have lots of hand cuffs for these. There were several accidents due to this. Someone got knocked down. The streets were also covered with trash. Boxes, plastic bags and CANS. Spray cans. As if the floor not slippery enough from the foam. The glasses of Takashimaya and other shopping malls were also dirtied by the foam, party sprays and all sorts of crap. Luckily, hotels were surrounded by tight security. I pity the cleaners who have to clean up the streets by day break.
Singaporeans have to learn to be more disciplined. If not, the ban list would extend further. Sometimes I agree with the government in not giving too much freedom to the people. Look what those idiots did with the freedom they got.
