As many of you already know, we are having a newsletter for UB-SIM. That’s a great thing of course. But the present situation is not. As previously mentioned, the admin had most of the control over what will happen and Gaylene has to carry out the policing. So now, they have shifted to an online newsletter funded wholly by the UB-SIM SRC. Gaylene has lesser control over what happens in the newsletter now, and also, there are lots of people with different ideas who want their ideas to be carried out. And some people who have greater authority in the present situation has taken advantage and do what they like instead of listening to other people’s view. ZZ who is one of the best at computers actually offered to help host the whole newsletter on his server. But some people insist on using the old and lousy server which SRC bought.

And now, I supposed it was after listening to ZZ’s advice, the CMS of the site was changed to Joomla. But they are using a template which looks so girlish. I know thats the best template which fits a website with newletter and forum. But I wouldn’t mind having the blog style template temporarily until the server problem is fixed that we get the proper template up. Haiz…
