Kids, Gays and Sissies

Recently there has been lots of fighting on my tagboard, firing from all sides by different people. Just when I thought it was over, I came back to read more hilarious stuff. Totally unrelated to my blog. Hahaha. Dunno why.

Well, recently I was quite upsetted with the show, you guessed it: Brokeback Mountain. Its a story about two guys who became gay partners while they were working together on Brokeback Mountain. Their boss saw them kissing each other on a trip to check on them and sacked them without telling them what happened.

Then, these two guys got married. And one day, one of them went to meet another at his house and they started kissing. The wife who was in the house at that time saw them and freaked out. Damn the stupid gays. Why are they betraying their wives, not only betray, but they are bisexual as well. One of the wife was a freakingly beautiful cowgirl. I hate that stupid show so much watching them kissing that I turned it off halfway.

So we are done with the kids, the gays, and now, the sissies. God damn sissies on the streets. These guys think they are cool. They may have even called some other people gays or sissies. But, I think they are the worst of the lot. They wear pink shirts- the very thin material, pink shoes, checkered red shoes, big belts, RAZR V3 pink phones, carry those big bags that girls like to carry, put some soft toys on them-pink, green, red, yellow, purple, you name it, they wear it- soft toy key chains, etc. etc. What the fuck is society coming to? With their weird hair and weird face, these people are the filfths of society. Absolute bullshit fashion!

I went online yesterday morning while in the lounge and found a message from the WLM team. It was a message to register and download the Windows Live Messenger Beta. After a heineous process (over the school network), I finally completed my download.

The first thing you would notice is the new background color. It is plain white with a pinkish tinge at the top. The border color can be changed to suit your preferences though it does not make any difference as the border is so thin.

The next thing you would notice is that the menu bar is gone. Not totally gone actually. In the previous version of Messenger, you are allowed to turn it off. Now, you are allowed to turn it on. Also, previously when u turn the menu bar off, you will have to turn it back on to get to File, Contacts, Tools, etc. The new messenger has a small arrow with all these in it, including turning on the menu bar.

Besides these features, there is also a sorting button, the ability to change the nick names of contacts-previously available only through Messenger Plus.

In the conversation window, minor changes were also made. There is no longer a start an audio conversation button, instead the new WLM has a Call a Computer button. The Send File button is also gone. In its place, there is a Share Files button. This is a more troublesome process if you only have a single file. But when it comes to a number of files, this becomes more convenient to use. Files added to the Sharing Folder- which will appear in your My Computer- through this would be able to be downloaded by many (You can’t just drag and drop or copy and paste into the My Sharing Folders). The Sharing function is also equipped with a Messenger Live scanning tool. It provides anti-virus protection for its users.

There are a few disadvantages here and there as well. When you look at the contacts list, you may have slight trouble looking for an online contact as the colors are quite faded and there is little difference between online and offline contacts. Display pictures which used to be displayed beside the nick names have also gone- they were only there for less than a version.

Also, as this is a first beta release, it is restricted to only registered Windows Live Messenger users. So if your friend or relative uses your messenger, but isn’t a registered user, they will also be prohibited from getting online through WLM.

All that aside, WLM has small but significant improvements over the last version of MSN Messenger. We would be eagerly awaiting the release of the full version.

P.S. Patchou has announced that Messenger Plus Live is already in the process of making. A new release of the old messenger plus which is compatible with WLM is currently available for download.
