The next four days of our trip to Zhe Jiang was spent going around shopping for goods.
We woke up early to have our breakfast in the hotel. Having more time to look for goods was one of the reason. The other was, we had to beat the Chinese to getting the food or we will be eating rojak of saliva and different foods together. When you see the way these Chinese eat buffet, you will be praising the attitude of Singaporeans. Don’t know why the whole world complaining about Singaporeans. The Chinese stuff their plates to the brim, I don’t see the Singporeans doing that, especially the younger generation, maybe the less educated. They also use their own chopsticks and spoons to take food from the buffet selection. One guy took food from one plate, licked his chopsticks and proceeded to the next, and so on.
As I said, we went shopping for goods on the next few days, one of the manufacturers we went to had an irritating salesman. And we were talking in English so he did not understand. As I was looking around to select the materials, he tried to persuade me to buy some stupid design which will never sell in Singapore. And then of course tried to suck up a bit. He was also asking what language we spoke at home in Singapore. The answer was English, Chinese, Canto, Hokkien, Malay all sorts of language mix together (Singlish). And he was like so no one understands you all? Yep. Only Singaporeans and Malaysians understand! Ha. So you idiot will not understand what were we saying and cannot spy!
For dinner, we went back to the hotel and ate at the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. That was the case for the second night as well. On the third, we went to try out the Chicken King. It was horrible. And its also bloody expensive. How I wanted to get back to the hotel and get the nice service and nice food at low prices.
On the fourth day, we took a bus from Shao Xin Bus Terminal to Nan Zhan. We were lucky they added an additional service or we have to wait till 4.30pm. Meaning we will reach Shanghai at 7+. When we reached Nan Zhan, it was the driver who spotted us first and immediately came over to carry my luggage. Haha. Its always mine which get carried, cos I always walk in front! Slow people lose out! But I take the heaviest and biggest luggage u know?
Alright. I’m posting the photos later.
