Last week, I asked my readers to help me with this survey. Results are, LTA banned phone usage due to: Driver lose concentration while they are on the phone (They don’t lose concentration when they use hands-free - yea right). Drivers have less controls over their steering wheels when they are on the phone with one hand and the steering wheel with the other.

This is nonsense. As Benji said, when you look for your hands-free its more dangerous than just picking it up and answering. About the losing concentration part, hey, taxi drivers are worse when they look to their whatever screen that is. Not only do they turn their heads, they use their hands to tap the screen! Is that worse than holding on to the phone and looking ahead?

Now to the one hand on the phone, one hand driving part. Who said that you can’t drive with one hand? So you mean to say handicaps with only a hand not allowed to drive? Rubbish right? Also manual car drivers also not allowed to drive right? One hand has to be on the gear knob which according to what this law is about is unsafe. If its that unsafe, how come these people are allowed to drive?

Conclusion is, scrap the rules.

Alright, this is just a short survey for my little review.

Why do you think the LTA places a ban on phone usage without hands-free in cars? Why do they think its dangerous?

So why should we support the anti world cup movement?

1. A ball isn’t as interesting as an engine and four tyres.
2. Having people chase a stupid ball on a pitch isn’t as interesting as Jeremy Clarkson racing with May and Hamster in a Bugatti Veyron.
3. team+geist isn’t as marvellous as the Toybota.

Business = Invest + Lay Foundation + Employ Workers = Make Money

Firstly, I want to ask everyone out there. What do we start a business for? To make money, right? Not work and earn. We want to MAKE. Working so hard to get some money out of the “business” is a wrong mindset. That is working. That is not doing business. You are just drawing salary from a high-risk, high work volume, low income job. Must well work for other people.

Business is all about managing. Its how you manage your workers so as to maximize profits and maximize the time you have for other stuff. Its not rushing around doing all sorts of nonsense.

Whenever I see my mother and many other “Business Owners” busy at work thinking they are bosses of their own business, I sigh and think the opposite. They are not owners, they are slaves of their own “businesses”. Working their lives away with just enough to feed the family.

One day, I was looking at the owner of this toy car shopping cart shop. It provides this toy car shopping carts at a fee. Rent of some sort. I set myself thinking, who is the real owner of this “business”. I know for sure that the auntie tending the shop who call herself the owner is not the real owner. Finally, I come to a conclusion that the landlord of the shopping center is the owner. Why? Because, it provided some space for this auntie at fee (Rent). Then this auntie, rents out the carts which adds some entertainment to the shoppers. It is adding some spice to the shopping center. The money that goes into the pocket of the auntie is just her salary. The landlord does not have much use of the space anyway. So it gets money, make shoppers happy and so it can raise prices for its rent of other shops. Thats such a good plan.

That is why, the rich get richer, and the poor gets poorer.
