Last week, it was reported that from 2001 to 2005 average household income increased by about $400. What crap. Majority of this increase is caused by inflation la! Don’t believe? Even the papers said so. After taking inflation off, its only about 1.1% per year! And I am sure that this increase was caused by the rich. Not the poor and middle class. And sure enough. The income of the lower 30% decreased! They didn’t talk about the middle class though, which I am sure it either remained the same or dropped as well. The excuse given by the government for the drop in income for the lower 30% was because of the ageing of population- more people are retiring. More like retrenched I say.

The rich people or rather those with links to the “government” just keep getting pay rises for nothing! Why do I say the rise in household income is largely contributed by the rich? People like that Lee Hsien Yang getting pay rise for some crap reasons. And he got performance shares of over $2 million for what? Getting more money from Singaporeans into the hands of the “government”? With those screwed, skewed and crap marketing campaigns of Singtel? And why are the ministers getting such high pay? Their pays are higher than their US counterparts! And Singapore is such a tiny country. Why does its ministers get such high pay when its people are getting hacked? They don’t have much to govern unlike the US.

On to the $80 million upgrading scheme. IT IS NOT UP TO PAP TO DECIDE WHO GETS UPGRADING FIRST! Has our National Pledge changed to “To build a totalitarian society, based on PAP and its ministers”? This is supposed to be a democratic country! Damn!

This is a continuation of my post on why cell phone usage should not be banned in cars. So, why should phones be banned? The primary excuse to ban it is one hand driving and distraction. Crap la. Like I stated before, one hand driving does not apply only to cell phone users. Smokers also use one hand to drive. And they cause much more hazards. No.1 One hand driving. No.2 Smoking Impairs the brain just like alcohol, so if alcohol should be banned, smoking too! No.3 They put their hands out of the window with that cigarette. It obstructs motorcyclists! Aren’t we told that we are not supposed to put our hands and heads out of the windows? No.4 The damn smoke pollutes the air! All these global warming shit dun come from cars! They come from smokers! There are more smokers in Singapore than there are cars, or rather in the world!

And about distraction, hey you don’t only get distraction from the phone. You get distraction when some one in the car is talking to you or when something happens in your surroundings. What happens when a flashy car drives past? What if a babe drives past you? Worse when she’s wearing bikini. Or for the girls, a cute guy drives past? Head turner right? Are you going to ban all these?

 P.S. Smoke detectors in IMM don’t bloody hell work! Those stupid contractors smoking in the toilet on the third storey and the water don’t come down on them neither does the alarm sound. Shit them!

Exams are finally OVER! YAY! And to my surprise, I got an A- and a B-. The B- wasn’t all that great but my stat sucks remember? Ben is complaining that I am not blogging for some time. But anyway, I got lots to blog and I will have it all down soon.

Spend my weekdays at the shop working. Boring! Luckily Ben and Grace came to visit me and we went for dinner at BK. Ha.. They ordered two meals and upsized one of them and so ended up with a large Ice Lemon Tea. In the end, we gave that to my cousin. Both of them eat at a surprisingly slow speed. Its really slow u know. I waited for them for about 10 minutes to look after their stuff while they went to get their meal. Stupid BK, so slow. While I was queuing up I thought that I should have asked Ben to help me buy my share as well thinking that by the time I get back they would have finished- you can imagine how slow the queue is moving, its like 1 customer in 5 minutes. And there are 2 in front of me. But then, when I got back, they only finished half their burger! hahaha. When I finished mine, Ben just finished and for Grace’s, erm, I don’t think it changed shape and size at all.

We got back to my shop later and they started singing with songs from Grace’s iPod. Ben was behaving emo-ly with Grace helping him to clean his face. Hahha. After their singing session, they went down to EC for Ben to cut his hair, which makes no difference. His emo hair still covers his eyebrows. But it makes him look like a small boy though. Lol. We left IMM after that.

P.S. OMG. Thanks to Ben and Grace for asking me about shoe shops and me bringing them down to find the shoes- which they didn’t buy, they bought a handbag instead- I found my favorite four leaf clover phone strap. I’m gonna buy it tomorrow!
