Terror attack!

Argh crap… Our team suffered heavy casualties today in Wargh. But it was fun. We used the jungle roads instead of the proper roads we had planned on Tuesday. Rat and I even went into unknown parts of the jungle on our own to try and back stab our enemy. We lost the majority of the games although we won the last one. It could be even more spectacular if we had just gone on the escape route right in the beginning of the game as rat and I planned. When we waited for sometime before trying to escape, the enemy had already reached our first path of escape and we were blocked and me killed.

Elton, Renhao and ZZ… You guys will regret! Hahaha. I suffered quite a bit of mosquito bites though. And had mud on my jeans and my butt when i set down. Benny was the best. Fell down on the butt while trying to knife people.

Our final battle was one of the most sly ones. We had campers guarding the base and a camouflager. Best of all, we hid the bomb somewhere no one could possibly find. Buhahaha!

Idiots screaming for idiots. Thats what is happening outside my shop in IMM now. Bunch of school girls screaming madly for bunch of geeks called Fahrenheit. They were there since morning waiting for this idiots who came 2 hours late. Not only do they create nuisance, bring the temperature of the building up, they cause lots of problems for shoppers who are trying to move about, create traffic jams in the car parks.

I wonder how does this kind of stuff benefit the tenants? It makes no sense at all. The idiots who watch these geeks are mostly girls who will practically, almost buy nothing at all. Instead, they are being inconsiderate to the actual shoppers. Capitaland management must be idiots to approve of such an event. The car parks are already over the limits and they have to charge shoppers to lower the demand, and yet they create such events to create more inconvenience.

They have F4 for some time, 5566 came next, and its ENERGY, then now Fahrenheit. What crap.

Geeks and idiots like these deserve to be thrown into a pit and buried instead of harming the society with their nonsense.

Nat just lost last night. Damn. The final battle. I hate that Fang Zhong Hua. An important part of winning through links with the judges is to get a teacher who can close two of his eyes and give you the points you want without feeling his conscience hurt. Another cause, which was suggested by my dad was that hooligans- also known as bengs in Singapore- outnumbers the other party. This is damn true. According to my observation, Nat wasn't able to capture the hearts of girls from neighborhood schools. What the heck were they thinking when they said he's ugly? And even said Daren is "shuai". The girls from the prominient schools would think differently.

Today, I opened up the papers and Headlines for Home news: Bloodbank supply extremely low. Why is it low? It's the fault of the HSA failing to provide people who donate blood with benefits. I'm not talking about monetary benefits. At least provide them with free medical treatment and all. Kindness should be rewarded. You save a life with your blood, you should be given the priority to medical care. You know what I got for donating blood? Milo, some biscuits and sample products from ZIRH. I wouldn't be going to the doctor all the time anyway. But if you give me this benefit of free medical care, I would be happy that I am treated better because I did something good. Besides, if HSA and Red Cross are smart enough, they should have their blood donation drive visiting campuses every 3 months or whatever the time is needed in between donations. Students nowadays are not very free and do not have the time to visit all the places they are supposed to go to donate blood. What's more, they have to pay for transport on their own and public transport fares are up.

Another thing to add, since LKY's daughter, Dr Lee Wei Ling thinks its okay to purchase organs, the government should then pay for the blood. Anyway, the patient who obtains the blood has to pay for it as well. What kind of nonsense is it for us to donate blood for free and they pocketing the money?

Untitled is the title as I have no basic idea what I have in mind. Yesterday's toastmasters turnout was quite bad and far below my expectations. We have over 30 members but the front rows on the right was quite empty. I think we need to embark on a recruitment campaign filled with exciting events. The members ought to do their part as well. Despite my efforts to engage the best evaluators I could find, they are not coming back. Something is wrong. And they are also not reading their emails!! Ryan and Elton! Had to remind them of the program and then they still needed to call me and ask where is the room. Anyway, thanks to all who helped to pack up the room after that. I wasn't able to stay as I had to rush off to Nat's performance.

I think Nat did fantastic though he had a flu yesterday. The first four judges didn't think so although the last guy did. He did much better than the other 2 on average although Daren did a bit better in the first song due to his performance. The last judge there also shared the same sentiments, he graded the other 2 much lower than Nat. Hope Nat can pull through this though. The fumble with the lyrics was unintentional and that Lin Wei Song guy has to blame the people online for messing with his lyrics.

I went online and got some of Nat's videos on YouTube. I filtered out for those which loads faster. However, if you are using Singnet, forget about clicking on the links. Its damn slow!

Superstar Fever!!

Posted in The Prophet on January 3rd, 2007 by Moleznev

Project Superstar was great! The comments from the judges were just excellent. Great for Toastmasters if the speakers can take them. Singapore Idol can just kick the bucket. Went down to Cadlecott Hill Center to support Nat yesterday. Waited for sometime before Jessie (Nat's mom) came and gave us the tics. Toastmasters alert: While I was waiting - quite anxiously as the show was supposed to start at 9PM and its was almost 9PM - I met John Sih! Heng Heng. I still haven't found an Language Evaluator since being rejected by many others :( The VPE job sure wasn't easy. Didn't want to depend on SIM 1 people or Kyle, as depending on them means all credit would go to them. And depending on SIM 1 would also mean the same group of people, or at times, quite crappy people.

The turnout was strong despite the start of school and work today. We watched the Female show from the waiting area from the top row of the studio, which I think its sort of waiting area. In the end, the Female show ended quite late and I think the Male show started at past 10PM. Pre-recorded shows are not easy for the audience I tell you. There were quite a number of retake scenes. The worst scene to retake was the one minute of clapping, and they had to retake that. Damn. And there were the whistle blowing and placard shaking scenes, blow until my jaw pain.

But all these were done for a good cause as Nat did not dissappoint us with his performance. He did quite well, although he did not do as good as the last performance. That Daren guy was good. But he's a damn ah beng and he's damn ugly! Even Jillian says so! Heard that Melisa? -The name Melisa reminds me of Full Metal Panic again!! Anyway, that stupid Melisa still argue with me say Daren not beng. I think she a bit sot in the head. No wonder she likes that whats his name (I lost his name and number).

Audience wise, our crowd was the best! Strongest supporters came from Nat, hahaha. Even the producer guy made some nice comments about us =D The show ended at about 12AM and Esther sent us outside to take a cab to save us from the crowd at Cadlecott.

There were quite a number of cabs behind us and in my hest to get a cab, I closed the door into Jenny's face - oops. Lucky us we got the cab with a Malay uncle. Normally Malay drivers are the best. Those Chinese ah peks ah, always make you pay more in the end by going super long roads or going slowly. KNS. So I reached home just before Ah Wang finished and spent my time in front of my beloved laptop again.

P.S. VOTE for NAT TAN (Mirror right?) 1900 112 1004 or SMS M4 to 71199. If you do, I could help you request for his autograph. So please do!
