Is Terminal 3 worth the while?
Posted in The Prophet on October 23rd, 2007 by MoleznevAfter the last time airport rankings showed a drop for Changi Airport's rankings (Fourth), airport authorities were left with a problem to solve. How do we get back to be the first again? Reviewers told them, let passengers be surprised and awed when they arrive at the airport. And they thought, hmmm, it might be a good idea to have some $800 a piece seats in the holding area.
Yea, yea. They are so smart. Like I would be, OMG, this seats costs $800 a piece, I'm so thrilled, let me try it. I would be more of, WTF, this terminal costs $1.75 billion and it doesn't have enough seats? So what if it's bloody good looking on the outside but I have to stand while waiting for my flight? And by the way, where's my wireless internet connection? Oh yea, I got it, and I have to pay? What's the meaning of this? I have to pay for internet at this world class airport while I get free internet on the streets?
Come on CAAS, people do not look at what you paid for your furnitures. People look at what they get, and to be a major hub, the key ingredients ought to be catered for business travelers - you should know what they want.
