The Moley Prophet

Last week, during an interview with LKY, he told the Straits Times of the brain drain that is happening in our beloved Singapore. Why didn't they realize this earlier? All I could say is, they finally sowed the crop of their bad seeds. This is the result of all the policies that caused Singaporeans to leave the land they were born in.

Over the years, the government has issued countless red and pink I/Cs to foreigners. Many of these people, had no intention of staying in Singapore, and were only taking advantage of the privileges granted by the I/Cs. These people do not regard themselves as Singaporeans, but continue to regard themselves as a citizen of their homeland. We are better off without them.

Besides these people, there were also those which are here to study on our government's bond-free scholarship. What the hell is the government thinking giving away our precious money to foreigners instead of its own citizens? And after that, they come telling us that they are short of money. Who would want to remain in a country like this?

People who have gone overseas naturally would love the freedom they have in other countries, and would be thrilled after hearing of the incentives the government gives to its citizens, and therefore would want to stay there. I know I would if not because of the responsibilities I have on this land of no return.

Someone once said that Singapore is God's gift to mankind. Yes, all mankind other than the native born Singaporeans.
