How to make Qing Ming “Green”

We know how much green house gases the burning of incense paper releases. How much heat is generated. However, we never thought of how we could use these to generate power. During the annual “Qing Ming” and “Hungry Ghosts” Festivals, temples and columbariums burn incense papers in towers that are made to incinerate them.

Huge amount of heat is generated from these incinerators, which if tapped upon could be used as power generators. What was previously a green house pollutant could be turned into an energy reclamation plant, recycling the energy that is put into creating all these incense papers. Green house gases produced could also be used to propel turbines that could be used to generate electricity as well. Instead of using the solar panels which generate little electricity, we should turn to these more efficient energy which is otherwise wasted.
